Originally an Irish clan started by Ajurna 2 or 3 years ago with the intent of playing in a semi organised (mostly chaotic) kinda way. It has now moved on to include a whole host of nationalities including, English, Scottish, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish and Russian.

Even though the nationalities of the clan members have moved on from being only Irish the Pirates still kept the name Irish Pirates.

All the members of our clan believe in having fun rather then just being purely skilful or always winning and thats what makes a the difference between a Pirate an Irish Pirate.

The clan that was so popular for its honest and fun approach to CS:S rather than just skill, a rolling recruitment process and the numerous shits and giggles on teamspeak was bolstered to over 27 members in a little over its first year, [IP] became so large it became more of a community of players roaming public servers rather than a standard CS:S clan but they still played clan match's/wars occasionally.

Now IP have a team in ED and are doing quite well in their rookie year.




The Irish Pirates formed in December 2005 as a fun community for counter-strike source. after two and a half years of fun and frolics we decided to join ED for which this about us was written. We have also started a multi-clan collaboration for banning hackers called efragc. We are awesome and as such we hope you accept this about us. :D




In 2005, Ajurna assembled a group of nerds (Called a "collective") to create a community of such potency that all the ladies in the area would get pregnant. Thus, IP was spawned, along with fat, greasy, hairy babies.

Since that time, the moment of creation, IP has spread like a bad smell through an elevator, stealing members from other clans and, yes, even creating some of their own. With their numbers bolstered, IP was ready to strike fast and hard, straight at the core of internet gaming and nerdiness.

Based in Ireland, but with secret agents in many places all around the world, IP is now a formidable force and have set their eyes upon ED. ED is run by the craziest of the crazies, however, and require that IP provide them with light entertainment and finger foods before they are given the right to destroy German CSS teams in valiant battle.

Renowned worldwide for being both awesomely cool and for being able to drink their own weight in alcohol, IP today is a well-oiled machine. With connections that would make the Illuminati tremble, IP stride proudly forward.




IP was created in December 2005 as a community clan, we are based in Ireland, the clan was then complete when Skib joined he made the clan what it is today, now we feel we r ready to use his greatness on you other clans.... ¬_¬
