Dear all,

Unfortunately the auto-map-picture-painter-shiny yoke was the latest casualty of FBG debugging. This means that I do not have access to a broad overview- which generally allows me to get a good feel for what has happened without crippling myself with RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) by clicking and dragging across the battlefield. So, this report shall be brief and based on what tidbits I could gather from FBG leading personalities..

The stand off between Fubar and Lpa ended as it had been predicted to end: painfully for Fubar. Despite the issues with the new defensive ratings, Fubar were still eliminated- after spending 400,00 plinks and having a “max” territory count of 1.. Ouch! Hopefully things will go a little smoother and according to plan next time!

Down in the South West, VIA were keen to execute a pre-emptive strike on their enemies- no doubt the thought of being surrounded was the catalyst needed for VIA to go on the offensive. Mustering their forces, VIA charged in an effort to smash DJR's and EV's lines. Both DJR and EV showed some real grit, holding their ground against sustained assault. VIA managed to slip a sizeable force in position- the results of that being 10,000 VIA troops incomings from the reserves to take on EV's 8,000. With only a handful of territories left, it might in EV's best interests to flee into DJR's territory and set up camp in the remote wilderness of Mexico.

In a shocking move, iK broke their long term friendship with LW tonight. Perhaps Bruno wanted to show his true colours before his departure- or maybe the two fell out over policies concerning VIA. From my desk, I can make out the distant sound of the rumour-mill churning out (at best) amusing anecdotes about Kaiser and (at worst) vicious rumours that iK were relying on a troop bonus that DJR had promised to give them. IK never received their 100,000 troops and took heavy looks from an angry LW. IK are in poor shape after tonight's ordeal- LW appear to be moving in for the kill. Where do VIA stand? Will they help iK? Or leave out to be devoured by the vultures? Aero have been nipping at VIA's heels- these guys are determined to hang in there!

END were a little ambitious tonight- choosing to take on the formidable SF. In what could be the making of an alliance, DoG pounced and went for the throat. Sinking their teeth into END's flanks, DoG have 12,000 troops ready to deliver the coup de grâce. SF have started a major deployment through the North East- either an attempt to dissuade any more potential attacks, or conduct an invasion of their own.
