How to Report Bugs Effectively.
Here's some handy tips:
- A bug is unexpected behaviour. For example, if clicking on something doesn't work properly, or you get a nasty error message, this is a bug.
- We can only deal with bugs which are directly related to the Final Battleground. Many game servers run their own mods which can be easily confused as being something to do with us, and this is generally not the case. Please confirm with admins on your game server to see if you are having unexpected behaviour with FBG.
- If you get the "unexpected error has occurred" screen, please click Send Report. It contains vital information for which we developers can fix things quickly.
If you are convinced you are experiencing a bug, please include the following information:
- Date and time of when you had the problem
- The nature of the problem, describing what happened
- Steps to reproduce the problem (this might be difficult but please try)
- If it's on a game server, please include the IP and port of the server
- If it's on the web site, the exact URL of the page with the problem
- Use a descriptive subject on your thread - these will get noticed!
